iiko appoints Group Chief Marketing Officer to support growth plans

iiko today announces the promotion of Simon Dadswell to Group Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Marc Brown to UK&I Managing Director, with a transition date of 1 May 2021.

Simon has been with iiko since 2018 and most recently served as UK&I Managing Director. During his tenure, he established iiko’s presence in the territory as a leading, differentiated brand and created a team that secured: over 700 customers including international and multi chain roll outs, the industry’s best overall Trustpilot customer rating including 100+ 5* reviews, world-class tech support response times of under 4 mins and fix times under 30 mins, and a strong sales pipeline for 2021 growth.

Prior to iiko, Simon was EVP Marketing for an AIM-listed software company, Proactis, responsible for group marketing including leading a global rebrand following a £100m merger.

In his new role, Simon will be responsible for iiko’s global marketing and brand-building activity, with a particular focus on growth expansion of its key international markets.

Marc Brown has worked in the POS industry for 23 years including managing his own POS business Tills for Change for 14 years. Prior to joining iiko in 2019 to lead Channel and Partner Development, he was VP Biometrics for Cybercyte and European Regional Sales Manager for Crossmatch.

During his tenure at iiko, Marc has been instrumental in developing new solution and channel partnerships and supporting operations including the rapid roll out of localisation requirements.

In addition to the role changes, iiko UK&I team continues to expand and a further three new positions are currently available: x2 Implementation Managers and x1 Sales Development Representative (SDR).
